Responsabilités

Development: design and implement multi-region failover for the platform's primary Postgres clusters

Development: automate infrastructure changes through Terraform and a peer-reviewed pipeline

Database integration: coordinate with the platform infrastructure and data engineering teams on replication strategy and read-replica placement

Security: define IAM boundaries for the new region

Security: lead the access review ahead of the migration

Prérequis

Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant infrastructure experience, or Master's degree and 4+ years

additional hands-on experience may substitute for the degree requirement

Conditions

hybrid, two office days per week at Amsterdam Zuid

occasional travel to a partner data centre for cutover weekends

€5,300–6,400 gross per month; the displayed range reflects typical compensation for this position and may vary with experience

Meridian Cloud Systems has been building that subscription billing and revenue infrastructure out of Amsterdam since 2013. Around 160 people work across engineering, product, customer success and sales, organised into nine small product squads; most of engineering is hybrid, with two office days a week at our Amsterdam Zuid office and a growing remote contingent across the EU.
